Objective: Develop a graphic identity for the 2013 Pacific West Quilt Show based upon the year’s floral theme.
My Role: Contracted graphic designer, create design comps, select appropriate colors, incorporate design appropriately into various layouts, deliver printable files.
Key Actions:
- Developed a central identity of a flower formed from quilting notions (thimbles, button, and a ruler).
- Leveraged PANTONE® colors of the year.
- Created final assets in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
Outcomes:
- Design approved for use in advertisements, window clings, the bookmark, and show program cover.
- Partner sponsor requested custom wine labels with the quilt flower designed.
