Objective: Create large-scale documents for physical print of oversized graphics.
My Role: Retail graphic and production designer, layout specialist, 3D modeler.
Key Actions:
- Designed within the size limitations of Adobe Creative Suite by designing at a fraction of overall size and named file appropriately.
- Placed proposed designs in 3D store models using SketchUp, and placed in client presentations using Adobe InDesign alongside details of the creative file.
- Maintained clean files for rapid release to a printable form with strict adherence to proper layers, color profiles, and appropriate bleed.
Outcomes:
- Delivered files on time and in a format that could be properly translated by prepress operators to print true to actual, intended size.
